GROHE 47483000 is a 3/4 inch Turbostat thermostatic cartridge used as the temperature-control element in selected GROHE Grohtherm, Grohmaster, THM and Rapido T thermostatic shower valve installations. The cartridge contains a wax thermoelement within its barrel and regulates the hot and cold water mix to maintain the selected outlet temperature.
The 47483000 is a push-fit thermostatic cartridge with four external O-rings. When servicing the valve, check the exact valve model and required cartridge code before ordering because other 3/4 inch GROHE thermostatic cartridges are available for different waterway arrangements.

Check the valve model and required service article before ordering. GROHE 47186000 is also a 3/4 inch thermostatic cartridge but is the reverse-waterways version for installations where the hot and cold feeds are reversed; it must not be treated as a superseding code for 47483000.
Installation Note
Before refitting the push-fit cartridge, clean the valve bore and sealing surfaces and apply a light film of suitable silicone grease to the O-rings so they enter the housing without twisting or pinching.
