We highly recommend that silicone grease is used on the orings of all new cartridges in stalled in a valve. This is a single use sachet.

TACSIL 3g Premium Cartridge Silicone Grease is a high-quality, WRAS-approved silicone lubricant suitable for use when installing and servicing shower and tap cartridges, valves, O-rings and seals.

Applying a small amount of silicone grease during installation helps lubricate rubber seals and O-rings, allowing the cartridge to slide into position more easily while reducing the risk of seals twisting, pinching or becoming damaged. It can also help maintain smooth operation of moving components and make future servicing and removal easier.

TACSIL is highly resistant to water washout and provides excellent adhesion to surfaces. It has an NLGI 2 consistency and a wide operating temperature range of approximately -45°C to +150°C, making it particularly well suited to bathroom and plumbing applications.

The convenient 3g sachet contains ample grease for a typical cartridge installation without the expense or waste of purchasing a large container. Apply a **thin, even coating** to O-rings, rubber seals and other appropriate contact surfaces during installation. Only a small amount is normally required.

**Important:** Use silicone grease sparingly. Do not substitute petroleum-based grease or petroleum jelly on rubber seals unless specifically permitted by the component manufacturer, as incompatible lubricants can damage or degrade certain elastomers.
