GROHE 47167000 is a stop ring and regulating nut assembly for the temperature-control side of selected thermostatic shower and bath/shower mixer valves. It fits between the thermoelement and the temperature-control handle, providing the adjustment and stop interface used to set the handle position.
This is not a thermostatic cartridge. Correct positioning of the stop ring and regulating nut is important because the assembly establishes the relationship between the thermoelement and the calibrated temperature-control handle.

Check the complete mixer code and the thermoelement already fitted before ordering. Depending on the valve configuration, GROHE 47167000 is used with standard-supply or reverse-supply thermoelements in 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch versions. Do not select this part by diameter or appearance alone.
Installation Note
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before dismantling the valve. Remove the temperature-control handle, followed by the regulating nut and stop ring. After servicing the thermoelement, recalibrate the mixed-water temperature to 38 degrees C before securing the handle in the correct position.
