GROHE documentation identifies this handle for Grohtherm 1000 models before 2006, with a 38°C safety stop for controlled temperature adjustment.
The handle operates the thermostatic temperature-control mechanism, allowing the user to adjust the mixed-water temperature while providing the calibrated safety-stop position. When the temperature-control assembly has been serviced, the outlet temperature should be set to 38°C before the handle is refitted, with the 38°C marking aligned to the valve reference position.
