Grohe 06905000 is a 1/2" screw-down headworks flow cartridge used for on/off water-flow control in the Grohtherm Auto 2000 shower valve arrangement. The headpart operates as a conventional screw-down valve with a non-rising spindle and is distinct from the separate half-turn flow cartridges used in other GROHE valve constructions.
The cartridge opens and closes the waterway as the flow control is turned. Wear to the headpart seals or associated valve seat can result in water continuing to drip from the shower head when the valve is turned off, difficulty shutting the water off fully, or increasingly stiff flow-control operation.
