A compatible shut-off and diverter cartridge for Hansgrohe 96509000. This selector cartridge is used in selected Hansgrohe and AXOR thermostatic shower mixers, bath mixers, concealed valves and showerpipe systems.

The cartridge controls water shut-off and selects the outlet on mixers with a diverter function. It is separate from the thermostatic cartridge that regulates the mixed-water temperature.

Temperature-control problems require separate diagnosis. This shut-off and diverter cartridge does not replace the thermostatic temperature-control cartridge.

Check Before Ordering

Match the complete Hansgrohe or AXOR product code and the production period of your mixer. The correct spare-parts diagram must specify 96509000 at the shut-off or diverter position. A shared range name, similar handle or matching diameter alone does not establish fitment. Parts 94009000 and 94008000 are different cartridges and must not be treated as interchangeable with 96509000.

Installation Note

Isolate both water supplies before dismantling the mixer and follow the service instructions for its exact model and production version. Inspect the cartridge seating, seals, retaining arrangement and spindle adapter during removal. Use a suitable silicone lubricant on seals where directed by the installation instructions. Reassemble and check shut-off, outlet selection and leakage before returning the mixer to use.
