GROHE 45885000 is a 3/4 inch ceramic disc flow cartridge and flow-control headpart used in selected GROHE shower systems, thermostatic mixers and bath/shower fittings. It provides right-closing 180-degree operation for opening and shutting off the water flow.
The cartridge uses a ceramic sealing disc and operates through a half turn. A worn or damaged flow headpart can be a common cause of water continuing to drip from the shower head or spout when the control is turned off. The exact valve and headpart specification should always be confirmed before replacement.
45885000 supersedes the older GROHE reference 45283. GROHE documentation distinguishes this ceramic headpart from the separate 07 025 Longlife headpart, which is specified for particular valve-body conditions rather than as a general equivalent.
