GROHE 47187000 is a chrome flow-control handle for the shut-off valve on selected Automatic 2000 thermostatic shower valve arrangements. The handle operates the water-flow control, allowing the user to open and shut off the water through the valve.
This part is useful where the original control handle is cracked, damaged, loose or no longer engages the operating spindle correctly. Before fitting a new handle, inspect the spindle engagement, fixing components and underlying flow-control mechanism, as wear beneath the handle can also cause excessive movement or poor operation.

If water continues to drip from the shower head when the valve is fully turned off, the flow cartridge, headwork or associated valve seat is more likely to require servicing than the external handle alone.
