The Hansgrohe 98282000 thermostatic cartridge is a push-fit temperature-control cartridge for selected Hansgrohe and Axor thermostatic shower valves, bath shower mixers and showerpipes in the Ecostat, Axor, Versostat, Croma and Raindance ranges. It is also known as 98282 and is supplied with silicone grease and an installation instruction manual.
This Thermostat cartridge SMTC regulates the mixed water temperature inside the valve. Where the shower or bath shower mixer is receiving hot water but the outlet temperature is not getting hot enough or is difficult to control, the thermostatic cartridge is a key part to inspect before ordering.
