The Hansgrohe 98153000 is a 30x5mm O-ring used as a sealing component in selected Hansgrohe and AXOR concealed thermostatic controls, concealed single-lever bath mixers and Hansgrohe Exafill bath filler and waste assemblies.

Its function is to maintain a watertight seal at the specified joint inside the assembly. Replace the ring when the existing seal is cut, flattened, swollen, hardened or no longer seals correctly.

• Do not identify this seal from the 30x5 mm dimensions alone because nominally similar O-rings may have a different application or material specification.

• Seat the ring evenly without twisting, stretching or damaging it with sharp tools.
