The Bristan D282-027 is a 35mm thermostatic temperature cartridge for selected Heritage Bathrooms and Bristan recessed concealed thermostatic shower valves. It controls and stabilises the blended water temperature inside the valve body.

This cartridge is used where the existing shower valve has temperature control faults such as poor temperature regulation, unstable hot and cold blending or inability to reach the set temperature. If the valve only has temperature issues and the cartridge body is otherwise serviceable, the Sirrus SK1500-3 may be the required service kit instead of the complete D282-027 cartridge.
