The GROHE 47582000-C thermostatic cartridge is a compatible spare for applications using the GROHE 47582000 3/4 inch thermostatic cartridge reference. It is used on the temperature-control side of supported thermostatic shower and bath/shower valves, regulating mixed-water temperature as the incoming hot and cold water conditions change.
The GROHE 47582000 reference is interchangeable with the older 47310000 / 47310 thermostatic cartridge reference. Verified applications using that older cartridge have therefore been included below where the valve or mixer identification has also been confirmed.

Before You Order
Confirm the existing cartridge reference and exact valve or mixer model before ordering. The 3/4 inch designation should not be used on its own to identify the correct cartridge, as other GROHE thermostatic cartridges are used in visually similar valves and within some of the same product families.
Also check the hot and cold supply arrangement. GROHE 47379000 is a separate thermostatic cartridge for specific reverse-supply installations, where the hot supply is on the right and the cold supply is on the left, and it should not be treated as the standard 47582000 cartridge.
Installation Note
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before dismantling the valve. Clean the cartridge cavity before fitting, and apply a light coating of suitable silicone grease to the cartridge seals or O-rings where appropriate, helping the seals seat correctly without twisting or binding.
