Compare the exact mixer model code and the existing handle assembly before ordering. Some special-finish mixers use a finish-matched button instead of the red 97212000 assembly, even where 97212000 is shown as an optional accessory.

Installation Note

The manufacturer service instructions show the retaining component being removed and fitted with a 2 mm hex key. Keep control of the internal spring during removal so it is not lost inside or behind the handle assembly.
