NOTE: The total height of this cartridge is 52mm to 53mm depending upon how compressed the bottom seal is. If the cartridge you require is between 56mm and 57mm, then you will need the E960583NU.
The Ideal Standard A954360NU11 is a pre-2001 1/2 inch TX ceramic disc flow cartridge used as an on/off control in selected Ideal Standard and Trevi taps and shower valves. It has a clockwise-close action and operates with a quarter turn.
The ceramic discs inside the cartridge open and close the waterway as the control is turned. A common sign of a worn flow cartridge is water continuing to drip from the tap spout or shower outlet when the control is fully turned off.

The hot or cold position should not be assumed from the cartridge code alone because documented Ideal Standard installations use the clockwise and anti-clockwise cartridges in different orientations. Match the closing direction and the original cartridge before ordering.

The A954360NU11 is approximately 52mm to 53mm high. If the cartridge removed from your tap is approximately 56mm to 57mm high, check the Ideal Standard E960583NU 56.7mm clockwise-close flow cartridge instead. The E960583NU is a different later cartridge type and should not be treated as a universal replacement for A954360NU11.
