The Ideal Standard E960583NU is a 1/2 inch SE ceramic disc on/off flow cartridge for the specified basin taps, bidet mixers, kitchen taps and bath/shower mixers. This quarter-turn tap headwork closes clockwise and opens anticlockwise.

The hot or cold position depends on the fitting and handle arrangement. Match the closing direction, spindle and dimensions of the removed cartridge to the exact tap model.

Water continuing to drip from the spout or shower outlet when the control is fully off can indicate worn ceramic discs or seals.
