The Ideal Standard A963004NU is a 1/2 inch quarter-turn ceramic disc flow cartridge used to control the on/off water flow in selected Ideal Standard taps and shower valves. This is the anti-clockwise-close cartridge, and the newer brass version is supplied.
The cartridge operates through approximately 90 degrees and screws into the valve body using its G1/2 connection. A worn or damaged flow cartridge can cause water to continue dripping from the tap spout or shower outlet when turned off, or make it difficult to shut the water flow off cleanly.
