Ideal Standard A963196NU cartridge spline adaptor for selected Ideal Standard dual control taps and mixer valves. This is the drive insert that fits between the handle and the valve cartridge spindle to transfer turning movement from the handle to the cartridge.
Sold individually this adaptor is designed to cut to size and is used on a range of 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch Ideal Standard tap and mixer assemblies depending on model.

What It Does
This adaptor restores the connection between the handle and the cartridge spindle. If the original insert is worn split rounded or no longer grips the spindle correctly the handle can feel loose fail to turn the valve properly or stop opening and closing the water cleanly.
