Ultramix Trubert Eurotherm TX5 Thermostatic Cartridge (TX95E, TX95C, T/X95CHP) - Flow Rate (Litres Per Minute): Minimum 5 - Maximum 260
The Watts Industries Ultramix Trubert Eurotherm TX5 thermostatic cartridge is a replacement thermostatic mechanism for ULTRAMIX TX95 high-output thermostatic mixing valves using the 10 to 50 C cartridge specification. The Di Vapor part number is ET-TX5 and the cartridge is associated with manufacturer reference 22TX5.
This cartridge regulates the blended outlet temperature inside the valve and is used when the existing thermostatic mechanism is worn, scaled, blocked, or no longer holding a stable mixed-water temperature. Check the valve code and temperature range before ordering, as TX95E37 and TX95C37 valves use the separate TX537 30 to 70 C cartridge.

Confirmed Compatible Models
- - Watts ULTRAMIX TX95E 10/50 C thermostatic mixing valve
- - Watts ULTRAMIX TX95C 10/50 C thermostatic mixing valve
- - Watts ULTRAMIX T/X95CHP 10/50 C high-protection thermostatic mixing valve
Before Ordering
Confirm that the installed valve is TX95E, TX95C, or T/X95CHP using the TX5 10 to 50 C cartridge. Do not order ET-TX5 for TX95E37 or TX95C37 valves, as those are 30 to 70 C versions associated with TX537. Reverse-inlet versions should also be checked separately because reversed cartridges use a different IN suffix reference.
Common Fault Symptoms
- - Symptom: mixed water temperature fluctuates or will not maintain the selected outlet temperature
- - Likely Cause: worn, scaled, or contaminated thermostatic mechanism
- - Solution: isolate the valve, confirm the valve code and temperature range, inspect serviceable filters and check valves, then replace the cartridge if TX5 is confirmed
Installation Note
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removal. Clean the cartridge chamber and apply suitable silicone grease to the O-rings during fitting to help the cartridge seat correctly and reduce seal damage.
