The Ultramix Trubert Eurotherm TX6 thermostatic cartridge is a replacement temperature control cartridge for high-output Ultramix and Eurotherm thermostatic mixing valves using the TX96 10/50°C cartridge arrangement.

This cartridge regulates the blend of hot and cold water inside the valve to help maintain a controlled mixed outlet temperature. Replacement may be required where temperature control has become unstable, the valve is slow to respond to temperature adjustment, or the cartridge has become affected by scale, wear or seal deterioration.

Important Pre-Order Checks

Check the existing valve code and cartridge reference before ordering. This TX6 cartridge is for the 10/50°C TX96 arrangement and should not be ordered for TX96FNC or the 30/70°C TX96E37, TX96C37 or T/X96CHP arrangement. The TKT5 adaptation kit is not included and should be checked separately where working on old T5 - 55000 installations.

Installation Note

Isolate the water supplies before removing the old cartridge. Clean the valve body, inspect the cartridge seat and lightly lubricate the cartridge O-rings with suitable silicone grease during installation to help protect the seals and support correct seating. Recalibrate the valve after cartridge replacement or maintenance.
