If the mixer no longer maintains a stable temperature, the thermostatic cartridge and associated seals should be checked. Poor shut-off or water continuing to drip from the shower head after the mixer has been turned off can indicate wear in the flow-control headpart, although the complete valve should be inspected before ordering parts.

The 47175000 reverse TurboStat cartridge is intended only for installations where the hot and cold waterways are reversed.
