Grohe 34169001 Grohtherm 2000 is a wall-mounted, exposed thermostatic shower mixer with 1/2 inch connections, designed to regulate mixed-water temperature and control shower flow. The chrome valve combines thermostatic temperature regulation with separate flow control for surface-mounted shower installations.
The mixer uses Grohe TurboStat temperature control, SafeStop at 38 degrees C, CoolTouch safety housing, integrated non-return valves, dirt strainers and a bottom G1/2 shower outlet. Grohe shower spare parts for this valve include the thermostatic cartridge, flow cartridge, control handles, retaining ring, seals, non-return valve and service tools.
For a standard installation, the hot supply is on the left and the cold supply is on the right. Where the supplies are reversed, Grohe specifies the 47175000 reverse thermostatic cartridge for hot-right and cold-left installations; the CoolTouch function is not available with this reversed-supply configuration. Before ordering, check the mixer code, supply orientation and the specific spare required against the existing valve.
