- Grohe Turbostat Compact Cartridge with Wax Thermoelement
This spare parts page covers the Grohe 24079000 Grohtherm concealed thermostatic shower mixer trim set for two outlets. The square chrome control combines thermostatic temperature regulation with an integrated shut-off and AquaDimmer diverter for controlling a head shower and hand shower.
The temperature control uses a Grohe TurboStat compact cartridge with a wax thermoelement. The separate AquaDimmer control regulates the water flow, shuts the mixer off and switches the supply between the two shower outlets.
A worn AquaDimmer can cause poor outlet selection, reduced shut-off or water dripping from the shower head or handset when the mixer is turned off. Temperature fluctuation or failure to maintain the selected temperature may indicate wear in the thermostatic cartridge.
