GROHE 48361000 SmartControl Concealed Shower Push Button Kit - Chrome
GROHE 48361000 is a chrome push-button kit for selected SmartControl and Grohtherm SmartControl concealed shower and bath/shower controls. The kit contains one complete button and six interchangeable symbol caps, allowing the button to identify the outlet it operates. It is not a pack of six complete push buttons.
The button forms the external operating control for the separate 48359000 concealed flow-control cartridge. SmartControl uses a push action for on/off operation and a turning action to adjust water flow. This kit is an external outlet-control component, not a temperature-control handle, thermostatic cartridge or complete mixer.

Used in the following concealed control assemblies. Match the exact model and installation revision before ordering; the number of buttons, trim shape or concealed installation box alone does not identify the correct spare.
These are separate service components, not additional items automatically required when replacing the button. Temperature-control and non-return parts vary between mixer types and installation revisions.
Check the mixer model, installation revision, existing button and finish. Choose the symbol cap that matches the connected outlet; changing the cap identifies the outlet but does not add another shower function. This kit supplies one operating button, so a multi-button control may require more than one kit when several complete buttons need replacing.
Follow the servicing instructions for the exact concealed mixer. Replacing the complete button involves access to its retaining arrangement behind the control mounting assembly; it should not be treated as a tool-free decorative cap change.
If water continues to drip from a shower outlet after it has been switched off, investigate the separate flow-control cartridge rather than assuming that a new external button will correct an internal shut-off fault. Temperature regulation is handled by a different component.
