The Hansgrohe 92176000 is an on/off-control cartridge used to operate the water flow in the Hansgrohe Raindance S exposed shower panel. It is the flow shut-off component and must not be confused with the separate thermostatic cartridge that regulates the water temperature.
The cartridge opens and closes the shower panel water supply when the flow control is operated. A worn or damaged cartridge can cause difficulty when turning the shower on or off, or allow water to continue dripping from the shower head or outlets after the control has been closed.

Installation Notes
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before dismantling the shower panel. Remove the control components carefully, retaining them in their original order. Reassemble the controls, then test the shower for correct shut-off operation and leaks before returning it to normal use.
