The Hansgrohe 13971000 is a complete chrome bath and shower mixer diverter assembly supplied with the sleeve and operating handle. It is used in selected older concealed Hansgrohe and AXOR bath/shower mixers to direct mixed water between the bath outlet and shower outlet.

A worn or damaged diverter can cause stiff or unreliable handle movement, difficulty selecting the required outlet, reduced flow or water passing through the bath spout and shower outlet simultaneously. Replacing the complete assembly restores the mechanical outlet-selection function when the mixer body and the remaining components are serviceable.
