Ideal Standard SV90167 is an inlet valve servicing kit for bayonet-fitting Univalve toilet cistern filling valves used in selected Ideal Standard, Sottini and Armitage Shanks cisterns. It services the newer quarter-turn release SV valve design rather than the older compression-fitting inlet valve.

The kit renews serviceable internal inlet valve components that help regulate water entering the cistern and allow the valve to shut off at the correct fill level. It can be useful where a worn diaphragm, restricted filter or deteriorated seal is contributing to continuous filling, water running into the overflow or erratic cistern refilling. This is a servicing kit, not a complete inlet valve or flush valve.

Before You Order

Check that your existing inlet valve uses the quarter-turn bayonet release design and compare the parts with the components removed from the valve. A toilet that continues to run may instead have a worn flush valve seal; check whether water is entering through the inlet valve or escaping through the outlet valve before choosing a spare. Isolate the water supply to the cistern before dismantling the inlet valve.
