Ideal Standard SV70367 Replacement Pneumatic Diaphragm For Pneumatic Valves

Summary

Ideal Standard SV70367 Replacement Pneumatic Diaphragm For Pneumatic Valves

Used In

• S8109AASensorflow Solo w.c. flushing device with surface mounting sensor

Ideal Standard SV70367 is a pneumatic flush valve diaphragm, also known as a bellows, for selected Ideal Standard, Armitage Shanks and Sottini toilet flushing systems. It is used in air-operated flush valve mechanisms, including Conceala 2 concealed cisterns and the Sensorflow Solo system.

The diaphragm sits beneath the pneumatic air-hose connection on the flush valve. Air pressure from the flush control acts on the diaphragm to operate the flushing mechanism. If the diaphragm splits, cracks or loses its seal, the flush button may feel soft, fail to operate or work intermittently. On dual-flush systems, one flush button may stop working while the other still operates.

Before Ordering and Fitting

Compare the old diaphragm and flush valve arrangement with the product photographs and check the air hose and connections for damage or disconnection. Remove the hose from the valve, release the old diaphragm using its quarter-turn fitting and secure the new diaphragm before reconnecting the hose and testing the flush. This part does not include a complete flush valve, push-button assembly or outlet seal.

If water continues to run into the toilet pan after flushing, inspect the outlet valve seal as well; the SV70367 diaphragm operates the pneumatic flush mechanism rather than sealing the water outlet.
