Vado CEL-048B-CONC Celsius Concealed 1 Function Thermostatic Shower Valve
The Vado CEL-048B-CONC is a wall mounted concealed Celsius brass valve body with two handles controlling one shower outlet. It is supplied as the bare mixer body with internal cartridges only and is intended to be used with separate Celsius trim kits and faceplates.
Function
This valve provides thermostatic temperature control and on off flow control to a single shower outlet. One handle adjusts temperature via the internal Celsius thermostatic cartridge and the second handle controls water flow through the three quarter ceramic disc on off cartridge.
Internal Components
The brass body is designed to accept the Celsius thermostatic cartridge type CEL-001B B WAX and the three quarter inch ceramic disc flow cartridge CEL-002A B 3 4 as listed in manufacturer spare parts information. These components combine to deliver stable mixed water temperature and positive shut off.
Trim and Compatibility
The CEL-048B-CONC valve body is used behind the wall with compatible Celsius trim kits including square and round backplate options and dedicated handle sets. Trim kits such as NUA-148B-TRIM-C P and other Celsius front plates are specified for use with this concealed valve body.
Installation Notes
The valve is intended for recessed installation in a solid or stud wall and connects to hot cold inlets and a single mixed water outlet. Correct orientation depth setting and pipework support are required to ensure alignment with the selected Celsius trim kit.
