Installing the SK1400-2 Sirrus
This is the general process for replacing a shower or a bathtub valve (for a diagram of the installation, please see the image above):

1. Isolate the hot and cold water supply.
2. Remove the shower handle assembly and temperature stop ring.
3. Unscrew the cartridge. Make sure to remove the old cartridge assembly down to the spring.

4. Put together the new Sirrus cartridge assembly and slide it inside the shower valve.
5. Restore the temperature stop ring and the handle.
6. Open water supply lines and check if the cartridge installation is successful.

The SK1400-2 Sirrus is suitable for Showerforce and Newteam valves. The thermostatic cartridge delivers the preferred water temperature by mixing hot and cold water. The piston within the cartridge allows the valve to adjust the temperature. As the pressure fluctuates from one side of the supply line, it regulates the pressure from the other line to even out the temperature.
