The Hansgrohe 97669000 is an M4 x 8mm hollow set screw or threaded grub screw used as a concealed retaining fastener in selected Hansgrohe and AXOR shower controls, thermostatic trim sets, porter units, overhead showers and shower-arm assemblies.
The screw secures the relevant handle, trim component or fitting to its internal mounting part. A missing, worn or damaged retaining screw can prevent the component from being held securely. Fitment must be confirmed against the full product code and the correct exploded spare-parts diagram because an M4 x 8mm measurement alone does not establish suitability.
