Bristan 04048OF Flow Control Cartridge Assembly used in SU0510

Summary

Bristan 04048OF is the flow control cartridge assembly used on the flow side of selected Bristan Artisan exposed thermostatic bar shower valves and shower kits where the 04048OF / SU0510 arrangement is specified.

This cartridge opens and shuts off the water flow. When worn, seized or scaled, it can cause stiff operation, reduced flow, or water continuing to drip from the shower head when the shower is turned off.

Technical Details

• Used in selected Bristan Artisan surface mounted bar shower variants and associated kit versions listed below.
• Official Bristan AR2 Artisan spares drawings identify the matching flow-side service part as the 3/4 inch ceramic disc valve position.
• Check the exact shower model code and spare-page layout before ordering because confirmed 04048OF applications are paired with different thermostatic cartridge assemblies depending on the version.
• Lightly grease serviceable seals during installation and isolate the water supplies before dismantling the valve.
