This brass extension housing is used on the diverter side of the valve, connecting the left-hand diverter control area to the diverter components that direct mixed water to the selected outlet.

Function and Use

The Silver 2 outlet valve diverts mixed water between bath and shower, while the Silver 3 outlet valve diverts mixed water between bath fill, shower handset and fixed overhead shower. If water drips from the shower head or spout when the valve is turned off, inspect the flow cartridge, diverter working component kit, diverter washers and spring as well as the brass extension housing before ordering.
