The Hansgrohe 97164000 is a chrome UV32 diverter selector assembly used inside selected Hansgrohe exposed bath thermostats and 2-hole rim-mounted bath mixers. It controls the changeover between the bath spout and hand shower outlets.
The internal selector is operated by the external pull or push diverter knob. A worn or damaged unit can cause difficult outlet selection, water passing from both outlets or the selected outlet failing to remain engaged.
