This part is the user-operated knob rather than the complete internal diverter mechanism. A loose, cracked, damaged, or missing knob can prevent normal operation of the selector. Difficulty changing outlets may also be caused by the internal sleeve or selector assembly, so inspect the mechanism before ordering.
