Before Ordering
Check the shower valve model and compare the complete existing cartridge with the product photographs, including the body shape, spindle and locating features. Similar handles or faceplates alone do not identify the internal cartridge.
Fault Checks
If the shower is too hot, too cold or fluctuates in temperature, check the supply conditions, inlet filters and temperature adjustment before replacing the cartridge. Persistent dripping after the shower is turned off should be investigated at the separate flow cartridge once retained water has drained from the shower head.
Fitting Notes
Isolate both hot and cold water supplies before removing the existing cartridge. Seat the replacement correctly, secure the retaining nut and check for leaks. Recalibrate the shower temperature after fitting.
