The Hansgrohe 96903000 is a thermostatic cartridge used to regulate the mixed-water temperature in selected Hansgrohe Pharo shower panels with Triostat thermostatic controls. It is supplied without the plastic adapter fitted behind the cartridge.
The cartridge responds to changes in the hot and cold water supplies to maintain the selected outlet temperature. Symptoms that may indicate a worn thermostatic cartridge include unstable water temperature, reduced temperature adjustment, water remaining excessively hot or cold and the temperature control no longer responding correctly. This cartridge does not control the on and off water flow, which is operated by a separate shut-off or selector unit in the shower panel.
