Function and Fault Symptoms
The thermal element reacts to water temperature changes inside the Grohmix thermostat and adjusts the mixed water output to help maintain a stable selected temperature. A worn, scaled or seized thermo-element can cause poor temperature regulation, temperature fluctuation, failure to reach the correct temperature or stiff temperature adjustment.

Fitting Notes
Before refitting the thermal element, clean the valve body seating area and remove limescale or debris that may stop the regulating cone from moving correctly.
