Bristan SK320078 is a thermostatic cartridge piston for selected Bristan and Sirrus thermostatic shower valve cartridge assemblies. It is the internal piston that works with the thermostat element and spring to help the valve regulate mixed-water temperature.
The piston must move freely inside the thermostatic assembly. If the piston is worn, jammed or affected by debris or limescale, temperature control can become unstable.
