Aqualisa 665002 is armed with four rubber seals and two gauze filters. The seals keep water from seeping out while the gauze filters sift out dirt and minerals from entering the cartridge. This is a screw-fit temperature cartridge where threads hold the cartridge in place inside the shower bar valve. A spanner can remove the Aqualisa cartridge from the valve.

Aside from the 665002 thermostatic cartridge, the Aqualisa DUAL001 shower bar is accompanied by two other types of cartridges which are the flow cartridge and the diverter cartridge.
