Crosswater LV1210FA1 is a chrome on/off flow-control lever handle for older-generation Kai EV1210EC exposed thermostatic shower valves and EV1211EC thermostatic bath shower mixers.

The handle fits over the flow cartridge spindle to turn the water on and off and adjust the flow. It is the external operating handle, not the flow cartridge or the separate temperature-control handle.

Compare the existing handle, part code, spline connection and fixing arrangement before ordering. LV1210FA1 is the pre-2014 EV1210EC handle; LV1210FA2 is a later-generation part and should not be assumed to be interchangeable. Dimensions and an approximate installation date alone are not enough to establish fitment.

Fitting and Fault Checks

The existing handle is secured by a screw and washer beneath its circular end cap. Remove the cap carefully to avoid marking the chrome finish, then undo the screw and remove the washer before withdrawing the handle. Check the condition of the existing cap, screw and washer before fitting.

A damaged or worn handle can prevent the cartridge spindle from being operated correctly. If the handle turns the spindle but water continues to drip from the shower head when switched off, the CG1210FA1 flow cartridge may need attention rather than the handle. Replacing this handle does not repair the internal sealing mechanism.
