The Grohe 0654400M is a pair of non-return check valves for selected Grohe Avensys shower mixer and thermostatic shower valve assemblies. The valves sit within the waterway to help prevent reverse flow through the shower valve and to reduce the risk of hot and cold supplies feeding back into one another.
Use these check valves when servicing a matching Grohe Avensys valve where the existing non-return valves are worn, blocked, scaled or no longer sealing correctly. Failed or restricted non-return valves can contribute to temperature instability, cross-flow between supplies or poor shower valve performance, so the valve model should be checked before ordering.
