Spares for GROHE 34229002 Precision Trend Thermostatic Shower Mixer 1/2 Inch
The GROHE 34229002 Precision Trend is an exposed wall-mounted thermostatic shower mixer with separate temperature and water-flow controls. This spare-parts page is for identifying and ordering components used within the exact 34229002 shower mixer.
The mixer uses a thermostatic cartridge to regulate the mixed-water temperature and a ceramic headpart to control the on/off water flow. Common reasons for servicing the valve include unstable temperature, difficulty reaching the selected temperature, stiff controls, restricted flow or water continuing to drip from the shower outlet after the mixer has been turned off.

Before You Order Check
Confirm that the mixer body is marked with code 34229002 and compare the required component with the existing part before ordering. The standard thermostatic cartridge shown for this mixer is 47439000. The reverse 47175000 cartridge is an optional configuration and must not be ordered in place of 47439000 unless the existing installation uses the reverse cartridge arrangement.
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before dismantling the mixer. Flush the supply pipework, clean the inlet strainers and inspect the non-return valves during servicing. The temperature control may require recalibration after a thermostatic cartridge has been installed.
