Kerox K35BL Cartridge

SUMMARY

The Kerox K35BL is a 35mm single lever ceramic mixer cartridge used to control water flow and mixed temperature in suitable tap and shower mixer valves. It is designed for single lever operation where movement of the handle opens, closes and blends the hot and cold water supplies through the cartridge body.

Function

This cartridge can help restore smooth lever movement, mixed water control and shut-off where the original cartridge has worn or become stiff. A common symptom of lever cartridge failure is water dripping from the tap spout or shower outlet when the mixer is turned off, although the original cartridge code and measurements should always be checked before ordering.

Check the original cartridge code, body diameter, overall height, locating pin layout, base seal arrangement and handle connection before ordering. Do not rely on the 35mm diameter alone, as cartridges with the same diameter can have different bases, heights and spindle arrangements.

Installation Note

Isolate the water supply before removing the original cartridge. Clean the valve body before fitting the new cartridge and apply suitable silicone grease to cartridge o-rings and seals where required, taking care not to damage the ceramic cartridge body during tightening.
