Check the exact mixer model and cartridge reference before ordering. Compare the stem, base connections, locating features and sealing arrangement with your existing cartridge. A matching 40mm diameter alone does not establish fitment, and not every mixer in the New Haven or Retro range uses H960236NU.
Check whether the fault concerns mixing and shut-off or switching between the bath and shower outlets. The diverter is a separate component, so replacing the mixing cartridge will not necessarily resolve an outlet-selection fault.
Installation Note
Isolate both water supplies before removing the existing cartridge. Follow the instructions for your exact mixer and check the condition of the cartridge seating, seals and retaining components during dismantling. Confirm the correct cartridge orientation before reassembly and check for leaks after restoring the supplies.
