The Hansgrohe 98217000 is a 9 x 2.5 mm O-ring seal used at designated internal joints in selected Hansgrohe and AXOR bath mixers, basin mixers and shower assemblies.
Its position depends on the parent product. In many rim-mounted bath mixers it is fitted around the selector area with O-rings 98189000, 98183000 and 98185000. A flattened, split, displaced or damaged seal can allow local leakage at the joint.
