CP0000250-FLOW is a long-stem on/off flow cartridge for selected Crosswater and Bathstore shower mixer valves using the CP0000250 thermostatic cartridge arrangement.

This cartridge operates the water flow and shut-off control. The separate thermostatic cartridge regulates the mixed water temperature, so identify which control requires attention before ordering.

Common Symptoms

Water dripping from the shower head or spout when the valve is turned off can indicate that the flow cartridge is no longer sealing correctly. Limescale or trapped debris can also prevent complete shut-off, so inspect the existing cartridge and valve housing before replacing parts.

Before Ordering

Compare your existing cartridge with the product photographs and all the measurements above. Check the spindle, spline profile, body shape, fitting thread and base seal. Metro KL2000RC and KL2001RC valves have used different flow-cartridge versions, so check the installed cartridge as well as the valve model. A CP0000250 thermostat reference alone does not identify which flow cartridge is required.

Fitting Notes

Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removing the cartridge. Follow the servicing instructions for your valve, remove debris from the cartridge housing and apply a thin coating of suitable silicone grease to the cartridge seals when fitting.
