Flow-control cartridge for Roca A505122603, also referenced as 505122603. This 1/2 inch left-hand quarter-turn headwork is used in the later production version of the Roca Loft Elite 5A4751C00 concealed wall-mounted basin mixer.
The headwork opens and closes a single waterway as the tap handle turns, controlling the water supply to the spout. It is a flow-control component rather than a thermostatic temperature-control cartridge.

Check the Production Version
The earlier version, produced before October 2006, used headwork reference 505121203. Do not assume that A505122603 can be fitted to an earlier tap body. Check the model, production version and existing cartridge before ordering.
Before Ordering
Compare the removed cartridge's spindle, spline profile, thread and sealing arrangement with the product photographs. Check the required closing direction separately; the left-hand designation alone should not be used to determine this. The nominal 1/2 inch size is not a complete set of cartridge dimensions and should not be used as the sole basis for selection.
Failure Symptoms and Fitting
A worn or damaged flow-control cartridge can allow water to continue dripping from the spout when the tap is turned off. Identify which headwork is causing the problem before ordering. Isolate the water supplies before removing the cartridge, and follow the tap's installation instructions when fitting and checking for leaks.
