The Burlington SP582 shower valve on/off flow cartridge is the bottom flow cartridge used in the Burlington Stour BF3S thermostatic exposed two outlet shower valve. This cartridge controls water flow from the lower outlet and is supplied under Di Vapor Part Number BL-SP582.
This part is used where the bottom flow control no longer shuts off correctly, has become stiff to turn, or no longer gives reliable flow adjustment. A common symptom of flow cartridge failure is water dripping from the shower head or handset when the shower valve is turned off.
