SUMMARY

Burlington SP37 Shower On/Off Flow Valve (Top Cartridge). The SP37 cartridge is used in the following Burlington valve models: V25, AF1S, AF3S. The cartridge supplied is different to the photos, with a red seal and no flow rods, but is the correct replacement cartridge.

The Burlington SP37 shower on/off flow valve top cartridge is a 3/4 inch flow-control cartridge used in selected Burlington Avon exposed shower valves. Di Vapor Part Number BL-SP37 is used for the top flow-control position and is supplied as the replacement cartridge even though the supplied part may have a red seal and no flow rods compared with older product photos.

This cartridge controls water flow through the shower valve. It is used to restore correct on/off operation and flow control where the original cartridge has worn, become stiff, seized or is allowing water to drip from the shower outlet when turned off.

Fitting Notes

Check the existing cartridge position, spline count, opening direction and valve model before ordering. The matching lower flow cartridge for the applicable two-outlet valve position opens in the opposite direction, so the top and bottom cartridges should not be swapped.

Apply a small amount of WRAS-approved silicone grease to the cartridge seals during installation to help the cartridge seat correctly and protect the o-rings.
