Burlington SP36 Shower Valve On/​Off Flow Bottom Cartridge

SUMMARY

The Burlington SP36 is a bottom on/off flow cartridge for Burlington shower valves. It is the lower flow-control cartridge used to open and close water flow on the relevant Burlington valve assembly.

This 3/4 inch cartridge has a 20 spline spindle and anti-clockwise opening operation. A failing flow cartridge can cause poor shut-off, stiff operation or water dripping from the shower outlet when the valve is turned off.

Before Ordering Check

Check that the cartridge being replaced is the bottom flow cartridge and that the spindle, spline count and opening direction match your original part. Do not order from diameter alone, as top and bottom cartridges can look similar but operate in different directions.

Installation Note

Turn off the water supply before removing the old cartridge. Apply a suitable silicone grease to the cartridge o-rings and bottom seal during fitting to support smooth installation and seal life.
